And now, to the "social media experts" who are offering Pinterest expertise - I think you hit the nail on the head when you say that many of these people have hung out that shingle without a real house behind it.(what a great phrase). They just haven't got it yet - perhaps because the marketing offering is so vague at the moment. This may change in time, but for now marketers should avoid direct selling and instead take time to find their place and observe how users are using the site. I'm excited to see how things will evolve with Pinterest and as long as it balances marketing with its users using it for fun, and sorts out the copyright issues, I will continue to be a fan.
