According to the February 24 issue of Entertainment Weekly (guilty-my sweetie gets it, I read it) Oprah will launch Oprah & Friends, “an XM channel (satellite radio) emphasizing topics like self-help and decor.” Oprah’s site says, The show will cover “current events, self improvement, health, nutrition, fitness and home.”
Oprah will oversee the channel, but just cohost one show a week for half an hour with Gayle King. For you, all her future guests, this could mean double exposure-First on TV, then on the radio. Nice.
