3 Top Mobile Marketing Tips

3 Top Mobile Marketing Tips I learned from Dan Hollings

1. You need a mobile website.
Don’t get your webmaster to create it. You can do it yourself. First step. Get a .mobi address for your current website. Next step, put up a few pages with just a few lines each. They shouldn’t be image laden as they need to be uploaded and read quickly by people on the go. Think standing in line at Starbucks. On the webinar Dan explains another shortcut to getting a mobile website that you can do instantly.

2. Get QR codes for your…everything.
You can use QR codes – those funny looking black blocky things you’re seeing on Facebook pages, which are scanned by your phone for things like a talking bookmark that can update readers on a weekly basis to see a video. You’re now seeing them on real estate “For Sale” signs so potential house buyers can drive by and upload the stats on a house to their phone before deciding to take a non-virtual tour. (Dan tells you the best place to get these and how to use them most effectively.)

3. Use text messaging for webinar & teleseminar reminders.
98% of text messages are read. Who ignores their text messages? No one. But you need permission first before you go text crazy. You need to make it relevant and useful. How?

Just ask. Would you like to be reminded 20 minutes before the teleseminar or webinar begins? We’d be happy to text you so you don’t miss it. This one small thing increases your show up rate by 20%.
